Have you ever seen Lord of the Dance or Riverdance and wondered how the dancers can do that and move their feet so fast? Come, join us, Southern Academy of Irish Dance and learn about Irish Dance. We have classes for all ages and locations in Dulles, Purcelville, Warrenton, and Winchester. There are preschool classes for those young as 2 up to adults and everyone in between. You do not have to have any prior experience dancing; we will teach you.
Southern Academy of Irish Dance Virginia has classes for whatever interests you. Come be a part of our performance team, and join us in shows and parades throughout Northern Virginia. Do you like competition? We have classes focusing on that, with students traveling both locally and all over the world to compete.

Dancing with Cherish the Ladies at The Barnes at Wolf Trap and Gaelic Storm at The Birchmere.
Participating in the Washington, DC and Manassas St. Patrick’s Day Parades.
Performing all over Northern Virginia at pubs, restaurants, assisted living centers, weddings, birthday.parties, schools, and libraries.
We have had dancers win the Southern Region of North America Championships, European Championships, All Scotland Championships, Great Britain Championships, and North American Championships. We have had multiple dancers place in the top 10 in these competitions as well as the Australian Championships, All Ireland Championships, and the World Championships of Irish Dancing. Southern Academy is the home of Garet Zagorski, the youngest boy from North America to have won 7 titles. Southern Academy also loves to teach ceili, or team dancing. Our teams have won Regional Championships!
