Piedmont Environmental Council

The Piedmont Environmental Council has the very important Mission Statement of promoting and protecting the natural resources, rural economy, history and beauty of the Virginia Piedmont. It was founded in 1972 and services Albemarle, Clarke, Culpeper, Fauquier, Greene, Loudoun, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock Counties.

The Piedmont Environmental Council gives residents the power to help protect and conserve land, water quality, air quality, historic resources, local farms and wildlife habitats.
