Did you know? Originally established as Vint Hill Farms Station, the 696-acre facility was built in 1942. A secure location, it served as a cryptography school, and as a refitting station for signal units. It would later become the home to warfare equipment and systems maintenance, other signals intelligence, and electronic warfare units worldwide. A shift in its mission would offer research, development, and support of intelligence and electronic warfare for the US and its foreign allies in the 70s until the military post closed in the early 90s.
