Family Fun in Leesburg at Leesburg Animal Park

Take your family out for some fun this Friday, July 15th as Blue Sky Puppets entertain from 5:30-8:30 pm.

The animal park is a family-owned and operated business. Many of the animal residents can be petted and fed. This up-close and personal animal experience includes pony rides, wagon rides, live animal shows, and even camel rides (select weekends). For more than twenty years, animals such as llamas and alpacas, goats, bunnies, and pigs are met in the petting and feeding area.

The facility is also home to many exotic animals like zebras, porcupines, sloths, and squirrel monkeys.

If bad weather is a concern, don’t worry. The indoor area is open year-round and includes a 3-level jungle play zone with a giant slide and trampoline, a toddler play area, a discovery room with arts/crafts, toys, and creative play. A theater hosts live animal shows and birthday party rooms are ready for your celebration.

Junior zookeeper summer camps are such a hit, they’re already sold out this season, so make a note to plan ahead next year. Fishing derbies coming up at the end of July are fun for all ages. If a movie night at the animal park sounds like fun, bring a blanket, popcorn, or even dinner (although no alcohol) and watch Disney Pixar’s “A Bugs Life” on Friday, August, 12th from 5:30-8:30 pm. Movies are $2 in addition to admission.
