Are you looking for a place to donate gently used toys? We moved from Fauquier to Culpeper a little over a year ago and left a few boxes packed in the basement. Over Thanksgiving break we started chipping away at the mess. We made the usual piles, keep, donate or toss. We ended up with several bags of very good gently used stuffed animals. We also have several bags of clothes but it is easier to find a place to donate clothing. We want to make sure they toys go to kids who need them. We did some research to find the best place to donate the toys.
The best place I have found to donate toys is The Salvation Army. The Salvation Amy is an international movement that is also part of the universal Christ Church. It’s mission is to spread the love of God and meet human needs in His name without discrimination. When you donate to them you can make a difference in the lives of the people in your community in need.
Although there are several Salvation Army stores in our area make sure the one you go to is a drop off center. I have listed the closest one to the region below.
